  • The earthly terracotta finish contrasting with the greenery and aligning with the rich wood of the doors and windows, antique mosaic flooring in the Administration Block add to the warmth of CISD.
  • An entry instantly gives a resort like feel. Visitors say it feels like Kerala or Bali. Both buildings are wi-fi supported. The Athangudi tiles in the reception with the mountaineering brass wall sculpture with the antique furniture ensure a classic welcome into the Skill Block.
  • There is a spacious lounge to welcome guests and interact in a relaxed manner after class. The flooring has earthly aesthetic feel. Beautiful large windows and doors with wooden frame bring ample light and fresh air into the classrooms.
  • Think Big, Trust the process, Purpose-driven Passion are the lines that adorn the walls. Bamboo bridge connects both blocks and the bamboo gallery seat for the amphitheatre. The two classes with smart Thoughtful safe grip granite staircase and lift facility for elders ensure access.
  • Every floor in both buildings have apt indoor/outdoor furniture to relax and refresh. There is a Pantry facility in the Skills Block. As a skill institute, CISD provides a high-quality, healthy learning space. It is an eco-friendly deliberately non-AC facility cooled by nature surrounded by massive fruit flower trees and herbs.
  • The investment for the ultimate comfort of the learning through up-to-date technology and sparkling upkeep are indicators of the high quality courses as well.

  • CISD aims to provide training for young people to enhance their overall confidence, communication and leadership skills. This will enhance the employability of the youth.

  • There are 5 wi-fi enabled classrooms out of which 2 have smart boards.

  • These 2 classrooms are suitable for online sessions, webinars and live sessions from any part of the globe. This guarantees the possibility of having top-notch talent and celebrities to address the children.

  • There are CCTV cameras to ensure safety and security. There is scopious water – both Cauvery and Borewell water. There are fully furnished sit-outs, dining areas and meeting halls on all the floors.

  • Dr. M. Bhuvaneswari joined CISD as Director in October 2024. She has 28 years’ experience working with children and young people.
  • Grassroot Action, Research, Capacity Building, Advocacy, Teaching and Independent Consultancy. She has taught in the Sociology and Social Work Department of Stella Maris College and has worked with organisations like Save the Children and Unicef.
  • She was consultant with government and non-governmental organisations. She is a gifted writer in Tamil and English.
  • Trustworthy and simple leader with dedication and pragmatism. With UGC JRF Award, she completed PhD in Child-friendly schools from Loyola College and was topper in PG Social Work and UG Sociology from Stella Maris College.
  • CISD will partner with schools, colleges and universities by singing MoUs. Collaboration initiatives will be made with other Corporate Skill Development Institutions, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation and National Skill Development Centre. CISD will partner with Civil Society in Trichy through Classic Foundation.

  • CISD dreams to reach out to children and young people across all economic backgrounds. Based on the overall cost of running the program fee will be charged. In every training, based on the economic condition, some concession and scholarship will be provided in every training.

  • CISD believes in building individuals with character and resilience that enables them to face all challenges in life.
  • Classic Institute is unique because of the nature-enriched ambience and ample outdoor space to move around and feel healthy.
  • The institute is planning programs on regular, weekend and residential /camp basis during long leave.

  • Before and After School/College hours’ programs and courses after school completion will be on regular basis.
